Study Finds CallidusCloud Customers Outperform Their Peers

Report Faster Revenue Growth, Larger Average Deal Sizes and Higher Quota Attainments Than All Other Responders

Callidus Software announced on Monday the findings of a new research brief conducted by the Aberdeen Group, the leading provider of fact-based research helping organizations and individuals make better business decisions. The study, "Sales Performance Management 2012: CallidusCloud™ Customers Drive Best-in-Class Practices and Results," December 2011, is based on a survey conducted in September and October 2011 to learn about the sales performance management practices at leading sales organizations.

Authored by Peter Ostrow, Vice President and Group Director, Sales Effectiveness, Aberdeen Group, the study finds that CallidusCloud customers outperformed all other firms in overall team attainment of quota, percentage of sales reps attaining quota, and percentage of first-year reps attaining quota -- three of the most critical quota-related performance metrics. Key findings include:

  • CallidusCloud customers achieve nearly three times the pace of growth in corporate revenues
  • CallidusCloud customers achieve twice as high average deal sizes
  • CallidusCloud customers onboard new reps to full productivity in less than half the time
  • CallidusCloud customers achieve sales rep turnover rates that are less than a third of that at all other firms

"This study independently confirms, for the second consecutive year, the unmatched competitive benefits that our customers derive from our sales effectiveness solutions," said Lorna Heynike, Senior Vice President, Marketing, CallidusCloud. "The dynamics of the sales performance market are changing. There is growing awareness that sales performance management is about more than commissions alone. To drive high performing sales teams, companies must invest in innovative cloud and mobile solutions that help them find the right talent, quickly ramp them to full productivity, and consistently drive superior sales execution to increase overall deal size, account penetration, and win rates. This study finds that our customers outperform on every one of these. The report is a strong testament to the unrivaled value of the CallidusCloud platform and confirms that we should be top of mind at every company evaluating a credible sales performance strategy."

CallidusCloud delivers a comprehensive SaaS suite designed to help businesses drive more effective sales at each stage of the talent lifecycle, from making the right sales hire, to making it easier to sell, to motivating sales execution with targeted incentives and rewards, to building a knowledge-based work culture with high frequency coaching and development.
